Ode of an Asylum Seeker........
I come for Visit, get treated regal,
So I stay, who care I illegal?
I cross border, poor and broke,
Take bus, see employment folk.
Nice man treat me good in there,
Say I need to see welfare.
Welfare say "You come no more,
We send plenty cash right to your door."
Welfare cheques, they make you wealthy,
NHS, it keep you healthy!
By and by, I got plenty money,
Thanks to you, British dummy.
Write to friends in motherland,
Tell them come as fast as you can.
They come in rags on the back of trucks,
I buy big house with welfare bucks.
They come here, we live together,
More welfare cheques, it gets better!
Fourteen families they moving in,
But neighbours patience wearing thin.
Finally, British guy moves away,
Now I buy his house, and then I say,
"Find more aliens for house to rent."
And in the yard I put a tent.
Send for family (they just trash),
But they, too, draw the welfare cash!
Everything is mucho good,
And soon we own the neighbourhood.
We have hobby - it's called breeding,
Welfare pay for baby feeding.
Kids need dentist? Wife need pills?
We get free, we got no bills!
Britishman crazy! He pay all year,
To keep us illegals in comfort here.
We think UK is very good place!
Much too good for the British race.
If they not like us, they can go,
There's lots of room elsewhere
you know...........

Yes. Legit ones are the people who have been driven from their countries through a very real persecution. Jews in WW2, Kurds in GW1 for example.
As for illegal... Are you talking methods of entering or did you mean illegit???
It is very political, but I totally agree that we are crazy for being so lenient.

I truly sympathise with the genuine ones, but why and how do they ALL end up here exactly? They come through countless other countries to get here and we give them money and a little card from the Home Office that says "Prohibited from work". So they can't contribute to our economy even if they REALLY wanted too. BUT they can work in little shops, grocers etc cash in hand and they're F*****G better off than we are. I see them all the time coming in to where I work in Enfield, they pull up in almost new or sometimes new Mercs and BMW's/ Audi A class's and come in and buy Beds for over a grand, the latest gizmo's inc camcorders for a grand and who really pays for it?

I've come across one case where a family where being housed 3 times, in 3 different London areas. What they had actually been doing for 5+years now was living in one and renting the other 2 out to more of their own people. Now they were standing in front of me in the shop with a great was of cash ready to kit their new home out they'd bought with all the rent money they'd saved over the years. It's fookin wrong I tell ya.
How much do you think you'd have to pay for a 2 bed flat in Enfield EN3?
Answer = About £3 a week plus you'll get milk tokens!
I feel that most of the problem lies with the system itself. Why keep them here for years (and I mean years, as I've seen people who have been here for over 5 years waiting for their application to be sorted out!) costing us money all the time, only for the majority to get turned down and we don't throw them out :eek: They just vanish into society and the only time you see them is when one of them crashed into your motor and you'll find out they're not insured, no tax, no nothing, no money! WTF is that all about? May as well just welcome them with open arms in the first place, or stand at the port and say F**K OFF NOW MATE, turn them around there and then, at random even.

But I still stand my my previous point - real immigrants are welcome. Fake ones, those who look on this country as a soft touch should be relocated since they have no need to be here. If they come in by the proper channels, then welcome.
This argument is based, sadly, on practicalities and not on idealism since I believe that a world should really be borderless.

Extremist, perhaps but i agree with the principle, the Aussie's wouldn't let a boat full of refugee's dock because of it's imigrant laws.
Don't know if there is any truth to this or not, but i read that teh average family consited of 1.2 kids these days, not 2.4. Basically meaning that the population is in decline.
From my dim and distant past i recall that this is not good for the economy, so may be the imigrant issue is a ploy by teh goverment to artificially swell the population?
Complete bollocks, i know, but i wouldn't put it past the goverment.

I allways thought that one way of solving the problem would be to make the asylum seekers have to apply for asylum from outside the country would solve a lot of the problems.
Failing that, make all lorries and trains fireproof, and then every one that comes through the tunnel/port gets flamed. have warnings in every language before getting to port, and then we'll get a lot less bogus asylum seekers.
Either that or every immigrant that wants to claim asylum gets torruted for a couple of weeks, and that'll stop the bogus ones, and the genuine ones will be glad its only a couple more weeks.
seriously, though, the reason is that by international law we cant send ppl back to a country where their human rights will get violated.
Like the bloke in the papers the other week - was here claiming asylum as he was very likely to be killed in his home country. Turned out he was a member of the Taliban and was claiming asylum here, cheeky fecker.
AFAIK he was granted asylum here.
Simple solution:
Apply for asylum (as has been done for decades) and if you're allowed in you're in and if you out you're out.
Whilst waiting you are detained. Rules is rules.
If you have entered the Country illegally then you get kicked out and have no chance to ask for asylum.
THAT'S IT.
Would sort everything out and EVERYBODY would know where they stand.

The problem is, due to the f*cked-up state this Country is in, this is politically incorrect and will no doubt upset some tinpot minority group.
UNLUCKY!
Until someone gets a grip things will only get worse.
