View Full Version : Welders near MK - Anyone know of any?

MOT failed today on both rear inner sills corroded at the jacking points.

Trouble is I'm off on holiday next saturday and my MOT expires wednesday :annoyed:

Also, if anyone knows what I should roughly pay, that would be much appreciated :)

Id say go and see Jamie at Garagemac , but he's on holiday next week.

There was a guy up in sherington that I got some welding done a couple of years back , but I can't find all the details - it was a little agricultural but strong :)

Heard back from Ade at Watsons. He is unable to get a car into his workshop, so suggests finding a bodyshop.

Got it booked into MKMOT for wednesday. It's gonna be tight, but I'm glad it's booked in.

MKMOT got it sorted. It cost £75 per side. little bit pricey he admitted, but said their welder is very good. I'll take their word for it :)

hi, i got the o/s (end of sill) suspension component mounting and n/s front chassis rail under w/arch
this came to £60 inc labour
i was refered to him by a good friend of mine.
