View Full Version : Whre can I get a T2??

In addition to the various strife Im having getting the 200 back on the road, my T2 on the delta has just died a smoky, oily death :(
Where can I get a new un, and also does anyone know if a T25 will go straight back on - Ive got a spare 200 one in the garage, and this could turn bad fortune into modding - always the best way :D :D :D

You might be able to get a T2 from a Fiat uno turbo to fit ... I'm not sure about the fittings but they'll probaby be closer to the delta than an S12 turbo.

I looked at fitting a fiat turbo on an S12 and it wasn't even worth thinking about after i saw the difference in shape and bolt patterns.

R5 use T2 so do Fiesta RS turbos (i think:rolleyes: )

I have a turbo from a Citroen Diesel engine in the garage, I *think* it's a T2. Some Unos use T2s, but others use IHI (got one of them too...)

A T25 will have the same manifold flange, but everything else most likely will be different. We have just fitted a GTiR T28 onto a mates Rover, which had a T25 before.

Do you wanna keep it or can I have it off you?? T2's appear to be like rocking horse shyte - Ive tried NTOC, Renault, Fiat, Lancia, Garrett, turbo technics etc. etc. and got nowhere so far ..........
I got a T25 I can swap for it if its in good nick ............

It's in my garage, which for reasons I won't go into is 80 miles away... What I'll do is take some pics at the weekend, as I'm down there anyway, and I'll email them over to you. It was on my Citroen Diesel, all running fine but the engine dropped a valve, and the replacement I bought already had a turbo. A swap for a T25 sounds cool provided they're both in the same condition, I'm sure I can find something to bolt a T25 to... If the pics look like what you want, then we can sort something from there.

Try a Ford breakers mate, I swear that RS Fiestas have T2's as Crackdown said.
