Prob Alan Jeffreys no doubt (They are normally very good on prices :))

If you find somewhere else let me know, as I may need mine done very soon. (as clutch is slipping)

Thankfullly, RWD cars make it easier to get the clutch/flywheel out :D

Just remember your torque wrench when putting in back in :)

Mate that is shit with A.P!! Did you give them shit, are tey going to sort the damage out etc?

Scougar

The damage is AP MOTORS liability. Do not get fobbed off whatever you do. If you need someone to help sort it out - call Channie lol. (love you dude :P). But seriously, that is crap.. repaired or replaced wheel and clutch etc. And yes, A.P. Motors do have a bit of a bad rep for s**t like this they pull.

Sorry to hear about the dink, but since you know who it is.. I assume she told you etc. Don't be mad at her, accidents happen mate, unlike AP who clearly just fecked you around.

I've heard some horror stories similar to this involving customers Skyline being driven around in the middle of the night....its not good!

If they are 'testing' it (as they do work nights I believe) then fine, if they are driving it around town, or generally just ragging it then there's defo a problem. AP seem to have a habit of this though :(

Gary> Let us know where you get the work done :)

Have you got this sorted yet? I spoke to Matt in work last night, and he said skimming it for you shudnt be a problem, providing it is already off the car, and he/we can find time in-between running machines....

As for A.P Motors, i havnt even botherd moaning at them, because i know there would be no point,:annoyed: they would only deny it,(like any garage would) and make me out to be a liar. All i can do is warn other drivers away from there,,,,:mad::mad:

I would send a formal letter, and let it be known that it is an 'open' letter to the rest of the member on the SXOC, and possibly elsewhere.

Dropping a very nasty note to UJCC would be a good idea seen as they generate most of AP's work :S
