Has anyone seen "Takeshi's Castle"?
It's a Japanese game show on Sky Digi channel 121.

I tell you, it's the best thing I've seen on TV for ages.

There's one game called Skipping Stones where the contestants have to run across a load of stepping stones in a river. They have to run fast to make the gaps BUT some of the stones are false and dissappear as soon as they tread on them, so the contestant falls (often face first) into the next very sold stone.

All the games are totaly mad and some pretty dangerous.

It's brilliant.

Way better than: Friends, Banzai, all soap operas, Springer, Frank Skinner, Beavis and Butt Head and pretty much anything else.

It's on more than once a week, often two episodes back to back. Go on, if you see it listed, have a look; You'll piss yourself laughing, I promise you.

I think I may have posted this in another topic about Knightmare or something, but I think it got lost in the melee.

This stuff is the most perfect hangover TV I have ever come across. Me and my dad stumbled across it one Sunday lunchtime. It is absolutely mental!

Have you seen the one where they have to catch the ball in the basket after it they drop it into the top of a massive pachinko game? They can't see where the ball's going, and this plus a massive pool of mud... One guy dove in head first and got stuck there with his head and upper body stuck in the mud and his legs waving about in the air. It's like a live action cartoon in bits!

I dunno. I was looking for an Arnie picture to go with the quote (go look for Arnie Crank Calls if you haven't already, then get the soundboard and use it on some twat at a call centre or something, great fun) and I found this one. I thought it went perfectly :D but I was curious to see if anyone would be offended... Luckily the majority of you seem to have a healthily diseased sense of humour too :) I think it's Arnie at some charity thing or something. I can't tell if he's smiling or grimacing in rage. I like to think he's grimacing in rage. :D

Can't remeber but it's at least twice a week in the evening and you normally get two episodes back to back.
