Right, This has been cancelled due to people being busy or just not able to make it. So we'll be have our usual meet up in Jan but not at Route 38 we will go somewhere else.

This thread is now closed and i'll strat a new/clean thread for the other idea

Bit limited for me too. Probably the Steak and Omelette as I work saturdays too. Sunday would be the best day for us as we are both off, or sat 27th evening - I finish at 5:30 so would have to zip down after work so won't be there much before 7 :(

No plans yet for a RR. We'll have to sort one out in the new year.

Looking at the amount of no-shows it really might be worth delaying this a week or two until everyone is available again.

Well if the reponse is too low then i'll cancel it. Everyone that comes into the SW area can read about it so its up to you guys. i'll sort out what ever you want but leaving for later on isn't that ideal, as Xmas will be over and most of us will be back at work.

With ref to the Cornwall boys its a long way to travel for a meal plus if they drive they can't drink so its a bit awkward for them.

Oh and gods knows what going on with Chan

I agree about every1 being back to work in the new yr so not ideal delaying it. The Cornwall guys could make a night of it n stay over somewhere. I'm trying to make it sound like more of a party! I'm coming from Exeter n Teggers from Dawlish so that's a reasonable distance - it's the only Christmas get-together so feel people should make a bit of effort unless obviously something else is pre-booked :sxoc:

Thats ok mate but it costs money and at this time of the year money is needed else where.


I'll speak to Chan later and see what we're going to do about this.

Have a great time at this guys, don't leave it too long to get dates arranged though else it will fly by without you doing anything :(

Spoke to Channie and ill reveiw it tomorrow but it looks like this will be cancelled and we'll do something early next year with (hopefully) more people.

Awww. Oh well. Will have to turn it into a new years gathering. Maybe keep it to the second sunday and meet somewhere with lots of parking for a sit down meal? A change from Route 38?
