No, havent gone amd, not buying one.......:D

My brother in law, whos knows nothing about cars, just has more money than sence is buying one....(blue with red lether......oooo wheres the bin, i feel sick:D)

I am wondering what they are like performance wise, as i love the fact my S14a pis$es all over his current HYUNDI coupe (sister: "its an F2 dont you know!") and would like to keep doing it with his new one!

Apart from the fact i hate alfas with a passion...think they look awful.

So what they like? Should i be quaking in me boots?

Magazine figures (which dont really mean much!!) are:

2.0 0-60:8.4 max 137 bhp 150
3.0 0-60:6.8 max 154 bhp 218

Taken from CAR magazine.

If he getting 2.0 then no worries, 3.0 might be a close run thing though....

The 3 litre one's pretty quick; I believe it's considered by some to be about as fast as the standard Fiat Coupe 20v turbo - a bit faster than a standard 200sx.

It's a big heavy 6 cylinder 3 litre in a crappy little ugly FWD tin box, but that does give you lots of nice torque.

Get a Bren-device, and maybe a decat/zorst combo, and then you'll be definitely showing him who's the boss :)

Doh.

I was suggesting getting a Starion for say 2.5k. Then spending the extra cash on booze, a few mods and your lovely lady. More horse power, better build quality, higher speeds and better acceleration (the 2.0 Starion beats the 3.0 Alfa).
