View Full Version : K12 Micra Recall. ;)
"RE: Vehicle Recall
Dear Mr Mills,
Our records show that you are the owner of a Nissan Micra registration MT52***.
As part of the contiuous improvement process at Nissan, a concern has been identified which is safety related. This concern affects a specific range of Micra vehicles, within which your vehicle falls. A concern has been identified with the tilt/slide facility on the driver's seat. If ignored, this could lead to the seat moving forwards or backwards whilst driving.
On receipt of this letter, please contact your Nissan dealer as soon as possible, to arrange an appointment to have your vehicle inspect." And so forth..
Do I laugh or cry? ;)
LOL! OMG !!!!!!
Dude, it's just not your year is it!!!
It's only minor mate, compared to what it could have been. I'd laugh and book an appointment with mr Nissan :)

S'not my life, dude ;)
Still, Mr Nissan might give you a 350Z as a courtesy car, while yours is being worked on:D
You'd be surprised at the number of recalls for new cars. Virtually every manaufacturer recalls a car for something or the other.
I forget which, but there's a website which provides recall information for cars.
It's why I never like to buy new to the market cars. Best to leave it a couple of years until the manufacturers have ironed out all the crap.
When I saw this thread though I though you were going to say

Booked in to be sorted on Monday :)
Not as bad as the 307 which has an ignition barrel recall which if not done can lead to the starter motor sticking on......until it sets on fire and burns out the car.
How do I know this well we have a customer that didn't bother to have it done.
His car set on fire while he and his kids were in it.
Wrote it off!!!
That is dead true
