Hi All,

As the title says really. If you got an idea or something you would like to see the club arrange, add a post.

If others are interested we'll consider having a go at arranging it.

I'll keep this part updated so you know what's in the pipeline. Once I have added details and dates I may have to put some suggestions to vote to see if enough people are interested in attending.

Details so far:

- SXOC Rolling Road Day and Fair at Interpro.

We will require a minimum of 15 cars and usually a maximum of 25.
The only day available is Saturday. They've got Castle Combe syndrome. New residents to the area have built next to the garage and are now complaining about the noise! So Interpro now have to finish by 2.

Prices are, at the moment 35quid* but I will find out what discount can be arranged for SXOC. I can't remember if numbers affect the price so will double check and update the costs.

This is planned for the end of August, beginning of September, check the above thread link for dates and further details.


- Curry nights

This will no doubt be a local affair. Matt is pretty on the ball with the Cheltenham ones. Can't say I remember when the last Bristol one was!!? One to discuss at the next Longwell meet I reckon.

SXOC have had a few rolling road days so wasn't sure if many people had recent power gains to test out.

I'll check out dates with Interpro. Went to a rolling road day the Supra MkVI club arranged and they had a barbeque, bouncy castle, RC drift action, even had bunting hanging everywhere.

Yep, can organise paintball. Never done it myself though but do know someone who runs a paintball and off road buggies event near the M4/M5 interchange.

when i say beer, i obviously don't mean it to be limited purely to beer, cider,lager and gin are also acceptable, and when i say curry, obviously a Chinese would be an acceptable alternative

id be up for all of them so long as its a day im off work (sunday im always off work)

but the best ones i feel are track days (kick ass) and rolling road days everyone wants to know what performance they have gained/lost since they have owned their 200 but alway a laugh to see what performance our cheap run abouts are kicking out

i just had a thought i dunno if everyone would want to but drift day??? we could couple it with maybe a south west tramp drift event... id be up for it but some may not wanna use their 200s in that way :P

Yeah, had forgotten about that. It was Rich_M and Ch1ef that mentioned that.

I'll have to get more details from them and find out when it's happening.

In the mean time I have spoken with Castle Combe and am arranging for a Castle Combe stand for SXOC at the Performance Action Day next year and an SXOC open track day.:thumbs:

AND I've just got off the phone with Interpro and have some dates for rolling road days.

I'll update and start the relevent threads shortly.
