What do you guys think of this?

civic (http://www.webmobil24.com/web/us/haendler_homepages/kobersteinautomobile/detail.htm?showid=4604929&pagina=0&bgcolor=&background=&printmode=&nomenu=&MARKE_ID=1020&PREISKAT_ID=&MODELL=&MWSTAUSW=&SORTIERUNG=2&debug=&FZART_ID=P&myfunction=suchefuerhaendler&specialfilter=&showdp=)

dont know much about civics however.

Thought that it might make a nice daily driver. Does anyone know if those power claims are real? What engine is in that model? Anyone know the name of the Japanese or American model?

So is it a good idea or should I just use the money on the SX?

Thanks in advance

If its the DOHC VTEC engine then 200 hp is the HARD to get, a magazine in the states is trying to get 200. If its a D series engine, forget about hp and worry about the gas mileage.

So consensus says its a no go?

Never seen a Starion in mainland Europe. Dont know if it was ever sold here.

Any superficial damage is not too big a deal. There should be plenty civics at scrappies.

Thought a zippy Civic might be a fun urban warrior to get to and from work. Anyone know which is a good Civic to go for from the early to mid 90s?

Any other options? Needs to be cheap, fuel efficient, and be able to modify.

ahh i didn't see you were from Europe :(
There must be some Starions out there, surely???

Civics are OK, I guess. Never seen the attraction myself though, adn they drive (certainly the newer ones) like little cars :(

Thats where they all should be! :D :D

IMO the civic type R's are quick on paper but in real life situations they really can't live a 200sx.

Dunc.
