I think you should be alright in basildon, as it does say its affecting areas in Northhampton and Daventry.
Probably why it's been posted in the East Mids section
Oops, didn't even look at the section  Also just photoshopped a google map image and the regional area map to make sure Northhampton was in this section on it... and it is. My apologies, Danielle :o

Could be worse folks, in Galway where I live (Rep of Ireland), we had a boil notice for most of 2007:nod:
Cryptosporidium fcuked it all up. Thousands were sick, and most of us having to buy bottled water for months:annoyed:
Still don't trust the water, so still buying bottled water, and will continue to do so
I'd be lost without my gps navigation :wack:

What a F**KING pain in the arse this has been!!!!
For those of you who dont know, I am not really a farmer and I run the catering facilities for a rather large blue chip organisation. Today I had to supply 3000 staff members with wholsome drinking water as they couldnt use any of the vending machines or cafes on site:mad::mad::mad:
Even preparing food for the restaurant was nearly impossible, all water has to be boiled to above 100'C and most our equipment (steamers, boilers, coffee machines) only go up to 80'C - 90'C, we couldnt even prepare vegetables until the water had boiled and chilled!:rant:
On top of this I could have to do the same for up to a month while Anglia water try and clear up there mess and when they finally do, everything water related has to be completely sanatised on site!!!
So today I have had over 5000 bottles of water shipped in by calling in many favours and have a further 6000 bottles coming over night to get through tomorrow, who makes these stupid laws that companies have to provide wholesome drinking water:rant:, staff should make there own provisions IMO:nod:
Rant over!
Anyone for Cod4 tonight:D
