Well, as it says really...

Watched a total travesty on the TV this evening...

Lots of mutual back slapping etc... :mad:

Considering our chaps are out in Iraq getting killed (and this includes the American soldiers too) should they really have called this off for once???

Oscars are crap anyway.
Always have been, never quite saw the attraction myself.
Perhaps I'm missing out, but I think not.

Yes, they are needed. In this time of blood and death, its nice to see people in the same room not trying to kill each other.
Besides, its all about the films that have made you laugh/cry/gasp over the past year and recognising those talents. And why do we go and see films? To escape into a different world for a few hours.

Didn't watch them tho

The Oscars are a bunch of arse whether there is a war or not. FFS, how can some crappy film about showbiz in Chicargo be the "best" film of the year !! I reckon the judges should get out more and watch some decent stuff.

I know I am obsessed about LOTR but how the hell did Two Towers not win best costume. :confused: :mad: :mad: Are the judges ****ing stupid or just being paid off by the douglases for his stupid can't act ugly wife. :confused: :confused: :confused: How the hell else did that film win so much???

As you can tell, I'm slightly miffed. :rolleyes:

My feelings exactly..... how the hell did she win best supporting actress, when Rene didn't get Best Actress???
