View Full Version : fcukin cacky credit rating strikes again!
can anybody help/explain this to me please!
WTF have i got the worst credit rating on the planet when i have NEVER defaulted a payment in my life?
I have 3 credit cards, a store card, a loan etc etc - but all on shitty interest rates cos the big guys all turn me away.
Now, to really piss me off! Just tried to get a new mobile fone on Orange (same as my gf, hence lower call rates) and EVEN THEY have TURNED ME DOWN:mad: WTF!!! I used to have a contract with them back in 2000 and it never had any problems! I am poorer now than i was then!
Why is it that anything i try to do to save money/reduce my debts just fcuks up or i'm told to fcuk off and try someone else:mad:
rant over, sorry folks:rolleyes:
They know you have a 200sx, and therefore will be a credit risk, because you will be eternally skint.

Could be that you're applying too often. Have a look here (http://www.credit-cards-plus.co.uk/uk_credit_scoring.html) for more info. Might be worth spending the 8 quid to see your reports.
If its really affecting mortgages etc, I know a financial advisor based in Basildon who could sort you out.
Ben
Do you live in a shared house or a house that a previous occupier racked up a load of bills against? Sometimes the blinkered lenders will not realise that it's the person not the house which makes someone a bad risk. Just a thought m8 :)
Perhaps there is someone else out there with your name and a really bad record, don't know how that works but perhaps it's possible there's been a crossed wire somewhere?

errrr, maybe thats why they are refusing you now??
I had this problem when getting a loan, My history was clean etc etc. But i could not get a loan.
So can the previous owners of the house fcuk up your rating???

I got turned down a while back, seems I had a store card I'd never heard of!!
I contacted experian and equifax (the credit check people that Marbles use) and for £2 a piece they gave me all my details.
One of them (equifax IIRC) had details of this store card on their records, I contacted them to dispute it. They then contacted the whinger (Thames Credit, real dodgy fcukers apparently) to see if this was a genuine debt, after a bit of time they had no response from Thames and took it off my record.
Find out from orange what credit check agencies they use then contact them.
I'm pretty sure they are only allowed to charge a max of £10 (DPA stipulated this) but both equifax adn empirion were £2 and you can apply online.

Did you try that site someone posted the other day to see if there are other people in the UK with your name? Seems a pretty unlikely possibility I know but I don't understand why some people get picked on by credit agencies  I have at least 1 junk mail offer of a loan every day it seems  I've got plenty of debts and have missed credit card payments (probably cos I've got too many  )
