Yesterday my ex parked her car in my driveway blocking me in. I politely advised her that I would be moving my car in a few minutes and would be grateful if she would move it. Somewhat grudgingly she did so.

I backed out my car.........bump......bump. 'Oh God!' I thought. 'I have run over the cat.'

With trepidation I got out of the car expecting a nasty mess at best and a huge vet's bill at worst.

No, all was fine. All that had happened was that she had left her £1,500 company laptop on her driver's seat and placed it on the driveway while she moved the car!

I've cleaned off the tyre marks but it still doesn't work!

Dunno what you guys are on about.....

The drive way is an obvious place to put a £1,500 laptop whilst moving vehicles on the very same driveway!

Bloody hell!

I don't know, the lengths some people will go to, to reduce the size of their laptop:D:D:D:D:D:D

She's been my ex since 94 but refuses to move out!

It's simple really. The house is my seperate property and although she has a claim on my assets that does not mean she has a claim on the house per se. So by divorcing her she became my tenant and she is protected from being chucked out by the 'Protection from Eviction Act'.

Of course, I was hoping that the ....bump...bump...was something larger than the cat!
