Right guys so for the northampton area guys i think towcester maccy d's is the place, :nod:

will sort a time once we get a few people post in here and confirm how many people are coming,

for the northern area's ie leicester etc junction 15a of the m1 (the silverstone turn off) then 10 mins down the a43 for towester.

Who's coming then.

Oh and due to a distinct lack of direction and no sat nav you gat get stuffed if you think im leading the convoy

arival time is any time friday, so what do you guys think about 12:00 maccy d's. depart at 12:30 for the late runners, arival at precott 13:30-13:45 depending on traffic.

there is no decent route from towcester or in fact anywhere near mk or northamton, im tempted to just bang it up the m1, m6, m62, m5 and that way, at least its direct and half decent roads. the way the route planner is suggesting is m40, uptowards coventry, and then a46. dont think ive ever traveled on a46, so duno what its like.

yeah ive looked ast it also , no point heading up to cov and then to go back down to cheltnam, best route is close to banbury, and im not bothered about a roads,.

Ok, progress report is have one of the lines fitted, but getting the last one off is proving to be a right mission!!

Its gonna be pushing it close now, as the garage that did our mot aren't open at weekends, so looks more than likely that the mot will have to be done on fri morning. then get tax. then blast up to meet everyone for the convoy:confused::sxoc:

We will still make convoy, got rest of weekend to work on it, and got n8rsd, (thanks mate), coming over tommorow to give us a hand. booked a half day monday, was supposed ot be in west wales, to get the mot sorted, and we will make it, im pretty confident, even it it means swopping out the brakes for our new shiuny z32 calipers. lol

just working on car now, been to scrappy and found a right little gem. blagged some goodrich braided brake lines for bugger all, and the bloke chucked in an original s13 workshop manual!!!!! Rare as :sxoc:

you both make it sound like it was an easy day, cant believe that no-one forgot to put wheels back on before the test or cross thread the brake connecter or even have the correct tools for the job:rolleyes:

yeh right he'll be up. lol. yeh taxed insured and mot'd. got a slight hesitation at 4,000rpm, in 3rd but it clears afterwards. and theres a slight knock from the front left shock area, nothing major.

I can bring a spare 1 man tent if you need it (says its a 2 man tent but fits 1 comfortably, 2 would be a bit uncomfortable lol)

nope standard silver but they are stilll sexy, my favourite wheels. Epic Chore,got up at 6am ishi drove from aberyswyth around the valeys, then home, then to pauls, then to bloody croydon and back. im shagged.
