JAE IS COMING 29th-31st August
Ok guys time to get excited about JAE. It promises to be an EPIC weekend, after the massive success of the weeker and for those of you who missed it then shame on you.
This will be the biggest meet, show, camping event of the year. So weather you are showing for a day, a night or the weekend then get your name down.
This is the place to make local plans for convoys etc.

As I don't drink, the event (being that its a giant piss-up) is kind of a waste of petrol for me :)
Looks like I'll be doing some overtime, just for the fuel cost there and back! EDIT: 311 miles lol. Cool.
But seriously... putting car in for a little work and MOT this week, then doing some general driving and seeing how the old girl holds up. (i've got a sneaking suspision she needs a new rad or similar). She does seem to get hot really quickly, (in the engine bay, not on the gauge) which is why I'm thinking about it rads etc.
If all goes well then I'll be up for the trip, but won't be booking till I know the car can make it.

I'd currently be a maybe. Won't be able to make a saturday (as manager and our busiest day, I sort of have to be at work!) so if I do go, it would be sunday only. Shame its so far away or I could have gone up after work on the saturday for sat night and sunday. :(

You dont need a new rad mathew... but u obviously want one!!!! Stop looking for justification and just buy the bloody thing!!!!

Its not jus a piss up?!?! Its a huge social with the SXOC and other clubs... also an excuse to get away for a long weekend and have a laugh in the sun!

If someone offered me one where I sat round all day doing fook all but surfing the net and occasionally speaking to a customer for £20k+ pa I'd jump at it!
Hang on - isn't that what IT people do all day anyway :p
I'd even do something where I had to actually work for my money! But it has to be interesting... I'd like to work with cars again (but sales I don't like the hours in a main dealer). Something may well be in the pipeline - watch this space! :D
Very good deduction on the rad Channie, I do indeed want one but, I am trying to save money and pay off bills. If it turns out I 'need' one then great! I'll be looking for a cheap aluminium one and know I can thrash it without that nagging feeling mine might be crap.
Give me time boy! Anyway, I said I'm probably coming to JAE so go easy!
