Why does 'everyone' assume tyres are made no wider than 185. I spent all of last saturday trawling round all the car accessory shops, browsing the net, looking for anyone making ramps that would support 225's or at least 195's for time being.
did I find any ........ did i fook :(
I spoke to a chap today who reckoned 99.9 % cars have tyres 185 or less - surely this is pure tosh (sorry for the northern talk) !!
Who are most likely to put there cars on ramps - folks with modified motors, who wont piddle about on poxy 135/50/13 tyres, but have a nice set of 205/35/17's, but do they provide ramps to accomodate ???????

I'm off to buy axle stands :D
