I wasn't overly impressed with the SXOC stand this year, the car's i did like were those of spesh, bigtone, madda and that black one with kouki rear and silvia front end, speaking of......spesh....your cars sound made my nipple not only erect, but twist to form a shape of art twinged together and then glow pink, i did ask sarah why doesn't my CA sound like that, and she blatantly owned my ass and replied with "Because it's not spesh's"............was damn quick mate!

It only sounded like that (assuming you mean when i was out on the 11.40 session) because I had a bung in which isn't a brilliant fit so it kinda whistles past it etc.

Its got lots of play in it, has done since the day i put it on but it just never gets any worse!

Had a nice chat with a fella up there about turbonetics turbo's, seems he knows ca's quite well too. said they could spec a turbo without surge for my engine quite easily, and without resorting to anti surge housings... just need some cash and to do my fannymold :)

hehe. You caught up pretty fecking quick mate! I'm stuck at 0.7-0.75 bar atm since swapping turbos again. I've got a hesitant stutter at between 3500-4000rpm and its really bloody annoying.:wack:

Nothing wrong with antisurge housings but they are a comprimise that i can maybe get away with not needing with the correct turbo. My understanding (based on reading general stuff, not experience) is that they allow compressed air back into the inlet side under surge raising effective IAT's (as the air is being compressed more than once in theory) and also mean that your turbo has to work harder to make the same boost as compressed air will 'leak' to the inlet side even under non surge conditions. Could be pissing up the wrong tree, but thats my understanding at least :)

I need something with antisurge, I have to drive around the surge at the minute in 4th & 5th, which is a bit boring.

Not sure, I mailed precision to ask if they make an antisurge housing for it and they said no.

TBH though I want a bigger turbo, this one's served it's purpose.
