I'm sure I'll be thinking of that on Monday when I'm racing, Oh dear my foot wear looks hideous (crash) into tyre wall @ 100 leptons...:D

It's like my grandmother always said, make sure you have a clean pair of pants with you in case you have an accident... :wack:

Hope no sunlight makes it to your footwell, the resulting red glow might dazzle you into the tyre wall ;) :D

The Puma outlet in Bicester village normally has a good selection of the speedkat type driving shoes for around £50 notes...

Even red schumacher special edition ones for the ferrari fanboys ;)

Bargain... definately.

But I'd say more 'racing look' than racing shoes.... a bit like 'carbon look' stuff :p

Bargain... definately.

Well the scrutineer seemed quite happy with them, as not only do they check the car they also examine the crash helmet, overalls and shoes..

I know what you mean, but upon inspection, they have nice thin and flat soles, they are nicely shaped, and with the heal going around to the back, they should perform ok!

Plus surely the red Nigel Mansell No5 on the side has got to be worth 3 seconds a lap.:D

i have a pair of the No Fear jobbies, paid £17 iirc. i have two pairs of FIA race boots for competing in, Sparco and Diadora both cost inro £100/pr and they are no different when driving than the No Fears :) (other than the fact that the others are boots rather than shoes length, and that they are fireproof but ya get my drift...)
