I'd rather watch it on tv, can see the whole race then not just a little stretch of track :)

You keep telling yourself that :wack:

You cannot appreciate the sound of a F1 car on the TV

I would never pay for F1 tickets as i think its way overpriced but if someone wants to give me free ones then i will be there without even thinking about it

Im going to miss it this year as i'll be in Kenya.....sucks :(

Spot on there Mark. People saying they would rather watch it on telly is bollox, nothing can explain the atmosphere and noise at a Grand Prix :)

Last year i even missed Lewis's pole qualifying lap as i was passed out on the grass by Copse as i was soo pissed......lol, didnt make it to my grandstand seat all weekend.........

The season reaches its mid-year climax at the British Grand Prix and I would like to invite you and a guest to join me on Sunday 6th July at Silverstone, birthplace of today's FIA Formula One World Championship. The Northamptonshire track is one of the world’s most historic and challenging circuits and I would be delighted if you can join me at the 2008 British Grand Prix.

You will have an unrivalled view from your prime seats in the Renault Grandstand overlooking a total of four exciting corners that lead into the start/finish straight. To keep you and your guest going during the day, light refreshments will be provided along with your personal ING Renault F1 Team supporters kits – both of which will be collected along with your tickets from our “Pit Stop”, located between the M1 and M40 motorways.

Going to be a bit of an arse trying not to cheer if Lewis wins :wack:

If I go this year - no cost apart from getting there and back - I will probably do as I have done in previous years. Sit in the SRC clubhouse watching the race on TV but also soaking up the atmosphere. :D

Depends on whether I can fit in enough tutiion hours between now and then. The week before I am on a 4-day course but still have to pay the franchise fee.

Nice one Mark, after seeing the F1 car at the World Series the idea of watching on TV is abig let down, enjoy yourself as it will be amazing

You can clearly hear the F1s cars from my GFs house in Buckingham, 10 miles away!!!

Well, that was entertaining !

I was only there for the Practice, but it was still a damn good show!

One of the biggest surprises of the day was just how loud the Force India cars are compared to all the others. Proper loud !

The Hondas noticabley seems to run louder too, and also backfire alot more on overrun. So i guess that explains their pace.

As for the rest, just damn amazing. Was great to see and set me up nicely for the Quali and Race.

Hat's off to Renault for great organisation and originality with their "Pit Stop" concept. Although, their directions/location could have been much better !

It was a bit disappointing to see lots of empty seats in the grandstand. I think alot of people decided not to go, which is a shame as if I had won tickets as well as my dad (who took me) then Mrs Smoothound and my Mum could have come too.

Maybe next year :)

Yesterday was fooking awesome :D

Was a long day (left at 4.15am and got in at 10pm) and the wather was a bit pants but that didnt seem to matter :D

The noise of 20+ F1 cars was deafening

Didnt get many decent pics though as the weather made everything look grey :(

The Renault pitstop thing where you got the tickets made me PMSL :wack:
