Is there anyone nearby that would be able to weld up a hole in my near side sill? The job has been half done it just needs finishing off. It is quite urgent however, my new private reg expires on Sunday 25th May and I needed the welding doing aaaaages ago in order to pick up my MOT slip (from fecking July 07, don't ask :annoyed: ) and assign my plate!

I think all that needs doing is the plate cutting slightly, folding up and being welded over the gaping hole. It's started to rust a bit as it's been ages since it was started and never finished. Gonna take a pic in a minute, then if anyone's interested, quote me happy :D

Might be worth speaking to ex-ctr dude, although IIRC he's pretty run off his feet at the mo.
However, if it's metallic, he can weld it, and weld it good :thumbs:

Ahh well, appreciated all the same matey :thumbs:

If I wasn't in such a rush to get it done (and done properly) I'd buy a welder and have a go myself.

try contacting Rapid mate, he's mansfield way , just needs a push to get of his ass, but he's a welder.

im working 12 hrs a day 7 days a week on a big repair job at corby power station for the next 6 weeks so i will not have time:(
