Well, as per the thread in motorsport, the SXOC Prescott Hill weekender is definitely happening. hopefully this is going to be the big SXOC weekend of the summer.

As you may notice prescott hill is a hill climb track and we have exclusive use of it for the sunday!!!

We have camping booked for the friday night and the saturday night, and the SXOC CarBQ will be in attendance
Saturday: show 'n' shine, and other fun and games as well as the cocktail bar as we move into the evening

Inter-regional fun - Space Hopper racing, Jenga and Connect4
Jon's (Saturday night) Monday Night Quiz
Sunday: Hillclimb - unlimited runs for the extra £30 surcharge as detailed above.
Drivers/Passengers participating in the hill climb will need a helmet :thumbs:
There is a noise limit for the track of 108db drive by. Those who fail the drive by test will be given chance to bring the volume of their car down but repeated failure will mean you wont be able to go on the course anymore:(
We are pleased to announce the club will be using the weekender to raise funds for the Breast Cancer charity Breakthough (http://www.breakthrough.org.uk/) :thumbs:
There will be a prize raffle featuring lots of great prizes with all proceeds going to the charity :nod: there will also be collections going on during both days :nod:

Due to my S13 having been fully road legal and actually working for a grand total of one week this year, I'm really not sure I'm going to make it :(
I'll have to see how the whole intercooler thing pans out... Is this limited to a certain number of spaces?

there's a youtube video i found of a veyron going up there (actually, there's quite a few videos of the veyron going up prescott) but one in particular followed the car for about 50-60% of the track from what i can tell :) so it's not too bad if you stand in the right place :) :thumbs:

If you can swing access into the camera tower and 'official' camera platforms then I imagine it'll be even better :nod:
You do need to walk around a bit though as the hill gets in the way a bit :smash:

1) its not a trackday, its a hill climb. its an untimed event where you drive up a hill, go as fast or as slow as you like

i was facing te prospect of arriving in a corsa so i booked a lift in an s13. lol
