Finally....

First off. If the mods fell this should be moved to another section please do so.

After taking my car off the road last October for a bit of a freshen up after giving it death all year at drift days it and to fix some nasty holes that had appered on the sills, it lay for a good few months over christmas and new year while we worked on bombers 205.

The past few months i have been working on it to get it ready to take some much needed drift abuse again, especially as there have been a good few crail and knockhill days i have been missing out on.

Here a few pics of the progress

Engine was removed to fit a metal steering spacer and also to do a bit of welding work in the bay.

I also bought some shiney new alignment arms and metal subframe bushes from driftworks . The rear subframe was also cleaned( done with a grinder with metal brush head..... Never again :indiff:) and painted white.

I never took any pictures of the sill repair as getting repeatedly burned in the face by welding sparks was reward enough for me.

I also wanted to give it a coat of paint due to there being a few dark grey S13's around.Ignore the dodgy rear arches( half made from filler due to them falling to bits when i tried to roll them) and boot as i couldn't be f:censored:ed rubbing down any more filler.

I know the paint is very dull but it still needs to be flatted and polished. Should be a bit better looking and shiney after that.The exhaust was also returned to a sensible state after hearing how loud the side exit was, it was also tucked up close to the floor so i can run the car as low as the coilovers will allow. All it needs now is some road tax and an alignment setup and hopefully it should be sideways again soon.

Don't worry about that i fully intend to plough into the tyres at my first crail outing to gain a bit of street cred ( you know it's gonna happen :D )

Yep four stud P1's. Fronts are 16X8.5JJ ET22 and rears are 17X9JJ ET22. I bought the front pair ages ago. I have to say a big thanks to Kieran for giving me first shout when he was selling the rear pair :thumbs:

My car is alright...just had it serviced...on the look out for some brake discs and gonna get the brake lines done and then mot soon. After that the fun starts :D

Project Mu FTW :D Brake lines are easy to do bud. I replaced all the ones on my car and removed the ABS.

I wasn't sure about the 16's front and 17 rear as i used to run my weaksuce wheels the other wway round( 17' front 16's rear) but i'm glad i took sambos advice as i do like it a rather lot :D
