sorry for asking what i'm sure has been before but i cant find anything in past posts.

I've downloaded a few films of the net, which are very good quility. I just want to be able to burn them to a cd as a vcd or svcd, what programe do i need to do this? a nice easy one to use would be good.....thank....Rob

I had reasonable success using Nero Burning Rom (http://www.ahead.de).. Easy to use, too..

i dont need the programe to burn it to disc as i already have that, i just need it to be converted from what ever it is now(divx ?) to mpeg? what do i use for that?

I think I have a program that does that. I have never tried it though.

Nero will happily convert it to an MPG before it burns it automatically. Failing that, try www.vcdhelp.com for LOADS of info :)
