OK, for those of you who read the local news papers...

Would you mind looking at the motoring sections and letting me know:
a) what area you are in
abd b) what the proportion of editorial is to advertorial? (ie Road Test V "XXX Ford has been here for 15 years and is the greatest ever")

Areas of especial interest are dorset/devon, Blackpool, Wirral, and the Midlands.

Thanks!

Heheh, must be feeling dense tonight! Took me about 5 minutes to understand the question!

Area is Basingstoke, Hampshire - local paper is the rather superb and originally titled Basingstoke and North Hampshire Gazette.

If I've understood the qu correctly then we have 14 pages of motoring, of which 1½ pages is editorial, and 12½ pages advertorial, including 3 pages of private car ads :)

Sorry TAC, it was a cr@ply put question.

What I meant was: How much of the paper is given to roadtests and how much is given to pieces of text about the dealers, their special offers, how great they are, or general motoring features?
It's the text I'm interested in as opposed to the adverts.

Thanks! (I'll never make Maastermind asking questions like that, will I?)
