Just a heads up for everything, me and another member on here (starlet_turbo aka dave, who's just broken his monster S14, so now has a ST205 GT-Four as a daily rag :ghey: ) will be attending an airfield track day with motorsport-events.co.uk on monday 12th may (about 2 weeks time), at Keevil Airfield in wiltshire (see their website for further details - http://www.motorsport-events.co.uk/).

The cost as advertised is around £99 - cheaper than the normal airfield trackdays they hold as its a weekday, and considerably cheaper than other similar track days, especially considering its an open pit-lane and you can have as much drive time as you want, the only limiting factor being how much petrol you bring :P

The initial payment is actually about £69 (we found out when booking) per car, although they're holding it as a charity event so the additional money (about 30quid) is intended to go in a charity bucket on the day of the event, which can only be a good thing!

There are videos of previous track days held at keevil, colerne etc (they're all very similar) if you wanna have a look and see if its your thing. Apparently there's a lovely long straight at keevil where they have done F1 testing the in past which should be a good thing for 200's, considering they'll spend the rest of the time sideways, especially if its wet :P

Anyways, thought i'd let the club know as we're gonna be there anyway (black GT4 celica and red S14A) so if anyone wants to come along aswell then feel free to book and we'll see you there

Its in Wiltshire, near chippenham. Not as far south as cornwall by any stretch of the imagination, but south-west nonetheless :)

they do 2 or 3 a month as you can see on their website, at varying locations, on varying days of the week.

The weekend events are more expensive, obviously.

They hold the events at hullavington, colerne, keevil etc, mainly airfields around the Wiltshire area but they do go as far east as oxford'ish.

They are professional events too, so it won't be like the chavs that'll be driving around combe at japfest, crashing into walls etc :P

Alot of the classic boys attend these events, the likes of the triumph owners clubs, elise boys, caterham lot etc.
