I need to send a international money order for a US ebay purchase.

Is it a case of going to the post office and asking for an international money order to the value of whatever and then handing over the money? is there a charge? and do they have to be made payable to anyone like a cheque?

yes you do get charged and it is like a cheque, you want to sign up for paypal alot less hassle

I did sign up for paypal, but the guy I'm purchasing off only accepts money orders from international buyers!!! great huh!!!
might just send a personal cheque.

i sent a personal cheque once and took 4-5 weeks to clear:eek:

4-5 weeks!!!! Man, this sucks. oh well, money order it is then...reckon they cost much.....hmm just hada thought, gonna check the royal mail website
