hey everyone

i have just fitted a power fc to a redtop Ps13

the car runs after putting a base map on the ecu, bt the car hold no idle, the guy mapping the car for me was saying that the idle control valve may be the problem that the signal is the different to the Sr20det black top lumps.

if the power fc is one for a black top engine then (i have no real idea on the origin of the unit) is there a way of hard wiring or changeing the wiring to give the correct signal for the idle control valve??

also is there neway of identifying the ECU that is it for a redtop or black top engine??

and also the other question is maybe the power fc for the ps13 is the same power fc for the Pulsar GTiR??

The power fc has an idle self learn function, do you know if the guy who set it up went through it?

If you put the standard ecu back in does the idle problem go away?

Edited to add: The serial number on the Power FC will identify which model it is for, not sure what the relevant numbers are though sorry.

yeah he did try that,

the car got a Z32 fitted so i dont think the std ECU is compatible.
