I'll practice on your car next time it's up the unit - see how long it actually takes, and how easy it is to do :D :wack:

yeah it is a lot

how much would you charge to drive a 250 mile round trip then do a days work :)

some people just turn up somewhere turn a screw and get £100 :wack:

As I said in one of my numerous PMs to purple200 I don't think its good value, but I have to ask for that much otherwise its not worth going. Its a tricky situation :indiff:

I've got loads of prospective business coming in from Wales but no agent to do it, I'm always turning down welsh folk. Whats wrong with you lot don't you want to work :D JOKE

opportunity is there for somebody, who will it be

In fact its probably closer to 300 miles

Anyhow I came in here to look for a couple of guy - they know who they are, to ask them if they've thought about my offer anymore,

So there you go :D

No offence meant mate I actually had no idea you were the other side of the country :( - clearly driving down here from Herts to do one car is never really going to make financial sense for either party. I guess a group buy is the only way to do it - pity this was not arranged before we all chipped in for our own arch roller!! (which interestingly has not even been used yet because we are all far too scared) :wack:

Maybe you could do a "group roll" type thing @ Japfest or another event?

well I've made an offer to do something with you guys but its been declined

I'd love to go to japfest but its a major expense, which at the moment I can't afford

so until I get some more agents I can't do anything about it, sorry

I've used it, killed a damaged front wing. Well no, just pulled it out of shape a touch. Know what I'm doing now, just waiting for Madda to finish with it and I'll have another bash now the weather is getting better as I don't have a garage big enough to fit the car in let alone work on it. Garage build is imminant:thumbs:

Am I right in thinking this roller will mount to and be operated on any other car?

I'm guessing that Trail and error will prove our best bet with it to get the hang of this.
Is it worth us doing a team buy on a few £50 (more than 10 peeps paid into it so thats less than £5 each:wack:)bangers from Free ads to pratice on:confused:, Who ever wanted to learn in attendance or perhaps select/nominatee peeps from the east and west of our area.

Really see this one being Madda's shout as he did all the work in obtaining it, I'm only putting an idea out there:thumbs:

And then suck it and see how we get on with the bangers until such time as confidence is aquired to go on a 200?

This idea is of course aload of toss if it really needs to be practiced on a 200 arch£££££, hopefully an experianced member could answer this?

Can be used on any car, but you will find that every model of car has a different shape wheel arch. But still good to practice on any car as it will give experiance and there is no short cut to that, I have a sunny to practice on when the tool is in Swansea again and we have nice weather

Looks like I'm probably coming up to Newport next week to work on a couple of cars

If there is enough demand I might come a day early to Japfest and do a few more. Depends on a few things falling in to place.

I don't mind if you want to watch and pick up a few tips :) what I'm really looking for is an agent to start in this area

If by some miracle I get to have a stand at Japfest it will be open for work

I understand that some of you are a little worried about using the roller yourself on your own car, BUT as long as you understand whats possible and whats not, its straight forward :)
