Just phoned up flux and the moron behind the phone told me that if I get any speeding convictions midway through insurance then my insuranec won't go up until the next year?

Is this correct?

The reason I ask is that I've just had an NIP through but the details of my actual conviction (i.e points and fine) won't come through the post until after I renew in a couple of weeks. Does that mean my insurance won't go up when I call them in a month or so?

Sounds stupid to me?!!

Any ideas?

It depends on the company and the offence, a lot of companies ignore one speeding fine but if you get more, then they might increase the price.

+ a NIP is intended prosicution. The Isurance cant put it up untill you actualy have been prosicuted.
and Insurace is based on past data and covers you for a year (even if you are paying monthly) so they shouldnt be able to change terms half way through a contract... can they?
