View Full Version : Can anyone fit my HIDs?

Hi everyone:wave:

I need my HIDs fitted on the car ASAP!

Its the Kit from Jez that has to be wired via the side lights.

Please let me know if you can fit them - as i need the fitted for my MOT

Will need to be in Cambridge mate.

Can get the car to London as the MOT expires tomorrow :annoyed:

why not do the mot without hids then when your next in london ill give you a hand fitting them. if not ill talk you through it step by step its really simple mate should only take 20 mins or so.

The thing is head light bulbs are blown at the moment! LOL

I have ordered some replacement high beam blubs and sidelight bulbs but need the HIDs fitted for the "normal" light.....

if your by your car now gimme a call and ill talk you through it. should get you through an mot at least.

If I cant get anyone to help down here i'll have to get some cheap bulbs to get through the MOT and then fit the kit in londond when you can help!:thumbs:

Shaun, it's really really simple, as high boost hero is saying, lots of us can talk you through it, take you an hour with referring to help on here :)

Ok then! I'll give it a go!

Thing is I am very pressed for time these days due to work. But i'll have a read through and try have a go.

Check out those two :)

The S14 guide is similar to 14a. I have fitted them to a 14a without removing the headlights, but with removing them it's a bit easier :) Main difference is that the S14a has an all plastic backing to the headlight, rather than that rubber grommet, so you need to press a bit harder with the knife to make the hole big enough to fit the plugs through ;)

how you getting on?

im a spark how lives in cambridge iv never fitted them befor bight i might be able to help you if we where to fit them together!
