Well, personally, I'm standing with Mr Blair on this one. Everyone knows that Saddam is just doing the minimum possible to stop himself getting blown up and will always lie and cheat to the UN and the international community at large whenever it suits him.

He needs to be removed. Too bad they didn't get round to it in the first Gulf War...

I'm not sure. What we should do.

I think Tony Blair is right to stick up for world peace. If we dont do somthing now who knows what sadam will do in the future. Do we just wait for someone to bomb us before we do anything.

I think that Bush is just a typical fu**ing yank out to kill everything not american. The guy thought Scotland was part of the US at one point, hes just not fit to be in power.

But all this said who is to say we get told everthing. They might know stuff that we dont get told. He might have a mass of nuclear weapons aimed at us right now that theyr'e not telling us about.

We cant all be cowards like the french. But we cant just run into theese things. No offence to the french but in WWII they just sat back and said its not our fight. It was when germany invaded them.

All i can say is proceed cautiously for the right reasons.

un resolution 1441 states that samam must give up all weapons of mass destruction. it does not state that sadam should let weapons inspectors in and HIDE his weapons so that the inspectors cant find them. there are also several million iraqis that would love to see the back of the sadam dictatorship and to see democratic rule.

fact. no 2 democratic countries have ever gone to war with each other. if the western world had bumped off sadam back in 1991 and got the iraqi people to govern themselves democratically more middle eastern countries may well have followed their example

The whole point of the UN after world war 2 was to stop people declaring war on a country just to be premptive to stop them being a threat.

So whats the US doing, ingoring the whole Ethos behind the UN.

They should have finished him off when they had a legitimate excuse. Not, 'He might have weapons that can almost drive as far as a car on half a tank of gas'.

Whoop de do!

Personally, i dont see that Bombing the fcuk out of Iraq is the most effective solution.

What other Military options have the yanks offered to get rid of Saddam and remove the weapons?..None.

There only answer is to bomb the fcuk out of Iraq incurring the wrath of every other country (except Britain and Tony Baaaa).

Lets also not forget that most fatalities the Brits suffered last time was from friendly fire.

Fills you with confidence

Lets not also forget how much this war is going to cost us, somewhere in the region of 3 billion pounds

In all honesty i think they need to get this country straight first, rather than bombing other countries at the tax payers expense.

You imagine what good that money could do in this country.... hospitals, schools, roads...

Offcoarse at the same time Saddam does need to be removed......

Long term solutions exist....its just that the US wants a quick fix oh and Bush needs one reason for the American electorate to vote him in a 2nd time.

Strange that a country founded on liberty and freedom should nor be among the most paranoid in the world.....;)

Lets not forget the REAL issue here.

If sadam and his 170 mile missiles werent on rich oild fields then there would be no war.

THIS IS A WAR ABOUT OIL NOTHING ELSE.

OY TONY, I KNOW HOW TO MAKE BOMBS, WHY NOT INVADE AND LIBERATE MY STREET, OH AND I HAVE SOME MOBILE 1 IN THE GARAGE!

What are thr UN gonna do?
NOWT!

If we bomb Iraq on their strong 'NO' decision, they wont do feck all. think about it, they cant decide on war on a dictator who kill shis own people!

Simple, Blair and Bush just need to say "Oh, sorry about that, wont happen again" and its compliant as far as the UN are concerned! The UN sure aren't gonna inflict military action on us or the U.S. no-matter what we do.

Lets just bomb the Iraq bases, get it over with and protect us all from someone who maybe didnt have direct contact with September 11th, but sure as hell isnt the peace-keeper amonst all of the dictators. Have you seen his son?? Another nutter. Not to mention his funding to offshore banks, hes probably moved all his cash somewhere else to fund someone else by now (its taken so long).

Its not exaclty been a surprise attack, he knows were coming, weve been there before, this time he'll be toppled. Knowing Saddam he'll say 'Ok' at the last minute and we'll go round in circles again, or worse he wont mind us coming in cos hes shipped out all things dangerous.
