Hi,
Anyone interested in joining us?
Assuming the weather is OK this weekend we were thinking of going for a short drive up to Ashton Court to try and get some better pictures.
So far we have Red, Black, Green and Blue S14a's:
- SXRORY
- JIM22
- N200
- Bristol Blue
Times and day (Sat/Sun) are to be decided. - Please add any preference as some people may have to work weekends.
Anyone knows where I live, meet at mine. We'll then drive up to the Downs to meet anyone else who would like to join the party.
Depending on traffic and whether City are playing, we can always go the long way round up to Ashton Court.
Who's in? And what are peoples time and date suggestions?

I'd be tempted aslong as some1 tells me where Ashton Court is..
and I'd rather do it on a Sat cuz I gotta drive back to work on Sunday.
Just looked where Ashton Court is and its abit far really to go for me as I've not got alot of spare cash this month. if it were closer then maybe.

I was very interested in this, problem is I seem to have neglected the fact it my girlfriends birthday and we are in wales this weekend with her folks. I am on the next one i promise, I ve got to show you all why you should regret not getting a red one (with pink mirrors :ghey:)

Gotta have a clean car though.:whip: Have been slaving away with Jim and N200 today, putting extra layers of shine on my car! And once Jim had valleted N200's car, his own was looking considerably dirty!!
Top job done though Jim, no-one has ever seen his car that clean. And fair play to Matt for fitting your new coilovers in just a few hours. Looks sooo much better now!:thumbs::nod:

There's still a bit of salt on the roads. Hope it stays dry, should be OK then.
Clean as it's even been!:eek: It was pretty shiney at the last meet.
You can always book Jim to give it the full works some time. Dirt just bounces off then.

you we're right steve it's like driving a different car! the drive out severn beach was rather interesting to say the least,the car remained poised,stable and the ride is actually pretty good:D
Big thanks to matt N200 for his hard work and keeping me supplied with drinks,giving his car a good going over was the least I could do:notworthy
Also I will be washing mine and mat-gt's cars in the morning to keep the clean car theme going:rolleyes::D

We're still on for 2 today, for anyone interested.

Thanks for that guys. It completed my 200 orientated weekend nicely. And James has got some stonking photo's.
Definately right about a sig pic for you Pete.
Loved your car. Those wheels look great! Really finish the car off nicely. James commented that with those wheels you don't need anything else. No bodykit needed etc. You were a couple of cars back on the drive up there but your car really stood out in my mirror.
In fact I think I am in love with that car and those wheels. It was good to talk to you too, never really had the chance at the Longwell meets.
Glad you all got back OK. Shame the weather was a bit iffy, still it didn't matter too much and the photos are pretty good.
And with summer comming up, we'll hopefully have a chance for plenty more of these. (Had my first ice cream of the year today too!) Take a disposable BBQ to the next one maybe!

I think they look better on the car than in photos personally, but then I can't take photos very well :smash:

how about making this a regular monthly meet? I am sure we could sticky it as long as it dosnt clash with cheltenham/swindon/longwell maybe mid month meet would be good instead of 3 at the start of each month ?

great idea:thumbs: tbh it was just a small idea me and Bristol Blue had a while back and it seems to work pretty well,due to the fact the first meet point is quite easy and central for most people to find,and then there is a short but pleasant drive to ashton court.....and 5 of us managed to stay in convoy all the way!:D
numbers haven't been huge as very few people seemed to have noticed the thread:o
it can only get better when the summer weather arrives to:):sxoc:
we don't intend on having it clash with other meets at all......but variety is the spice of life:wack:

I believe that the more open area's of ashton court don't have quite so many of them,the idea of a BIG drive every month though might put some people off.
mines gonna be lowered this weekend so i know its a bit further but what about chedder gorge, weston, the downs, etc?

mine is very low, and I didn't touch any speed bump, but they're not something nice :wack:
btw I also don't know bristol allmost at all :wack:
the speed bumps were definately a new experience with coilovers on!:eek:
but I will one day master the technique of clearing them without causing myself spinal injury:nod::thumbs::wack:
will be able to get some awesome pics with the backdrop of the gorge etc and some bits you can climb up to get some sweet arial pics and drift vids if any random cars decided to randomly drift through lol
