mate at work has just got a
Audi Cabriolet (late spec) 2.8 v6 with 174 bhp 184 torque.
first off he said altho the books say 0-60 is 7.8 i recon its less than 6:eek: rolox.

when i sent him the comparison of book figures between his cab and my s13 i high lighted the 0-60 ( 6.7 him 7.8) and said below heheheh i can't wait ;)

he replied with, well whats the 0-100 time then, i said around 15 secs ( think this is correct if not plz correct me) and he said

well i think mines about 12, will test it toite tho

12 my arse!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! weighing in @ 1590 kg i don't think so.

went back to him and said by looks of it quikest is going to be 16.5 but the 3l v6 is 20 secs!!!

do you guys know much bout them??

My understanding is that all non-turbo Audi's are pretty slow. I'm surprised to even hear that it does 0-60 in under 8s TBH.

Just whoop him in your s13 and that'll be the end of it.

IMO An s13 with chip, FMIC, filter, and around 15/16psi will do 0-100 in 15 seconds. No way in a standard one. Saying that his audi won't do it quicker than 18s.

12s to 100 LMAO.

12 secs to 100mph is getting into ferrari, lambo terratory!!

174bhp is never going to get to 100mph that quickly unless its in a go-cart, or caterham!

thats similar power to a 325i and the 0-60 on them is about 7.5 and i guess they will weigh the same. Hes got no chance against a 200

but......

Just remember that 2 seconds isn't that big a difference. Don't screw up your launch or your gear change our you could be walking away with your tail between your legs.

Not that i want to put any pressure on you or anything..... but the reputation of 200 owners all over the planet is resting on your shoulders right now. :D

i had a three way race with an s13 and s14 on the way back from the HWH meet driving an audi a4 2.4 v6 and BEAT the s13 (although it wasnt running the prettiest at the time) and HELD the s14 - and no i aint b/sh!ittn:p

not saying its a good car tho - booooorrring!:(
