Bren's got one - he was also talking about selling it and getting an S13 to try out new stuff on, so he might do you a p/x? :)

Love the engine and I love the sound but the only thing that put's me off is the sierra shell, bit 80's repmobile which is why I would buy the escort cossy.

They are getting expensive to buy and to find one in decent nick though. Been looking for onr for a mate recently. You'll have to spend about £4k to get even a decent 2WD, I reckon. And that's for a car that's gonna be at least 12 years old!

Still, very nice cars though, I won't hear a bad thing said about them (unless it's rust related LOL) :D

What I'd really like would be one of the old 3-door 'Whale Tail' ones, though, especially and RS500. Try finding one of those. Even harder :(

damn 3 door dashboards though, they all split at the slightest sign of the sun :(

Not sure about the s14a being a better car, depends whats better i suppose. Cossies have proven themselves and still do as murdering allkinds of perfomance cars. Wheras making a 500+ s14 is still a bit of a hassle, although there are some in the making. Tuning parts for cossies are available over the counter at mcdonalds these days, and everything has been done before. A map sensor, injectors and intercooler with a boost upgrade will surpass my limits on the s13, for what £500? my mates (in the pic above) ran 350 for 3 years on nothing but oil changes so it didnt do his wallet much harm  Which is why i want one, if the right one doesnt turn up then i wont bother, i just want to deal with something with a stricter path to good horsepower. Alot of guesswork and expenditure goes into the 200, sometimes for not much gain.

I was under the impression that they were far superior to normal sierras for rust because they were made elsewhere with better quality control?

RS500's must be worth an unthinkable amount by now  :( :( , not much chance of me ever owning one :(

I love em too. Wanted one ever since I could drive!!!

But ins is crazy, and its so hard to find a good one.

Plus I like the fact that 200's are rare and people have to ask what it is. Too many cossie look-a-likes around.

lol, ya you do get that "is it a real one mate?"

Noone asks me if my 200 is real :) its all a bit pie in the sky at the moment, but i think I have spent all i want to spend on 200s now. And a cossie will be the next toy.

I was gonna get a Sapp before i got the 200 but insurance is 3 times as much, far too many sheds about, most have been tuned by idiots so are too unreliable, standard ones are like rocking horse shit and you pay top dollar for one and they are a joy riders dream so i would never sleep or take it anywhere i had to leave it. They are not that cheap to tune either if you do it properly, not like some of the muppets who put on a bleed valve, wack the boost to 2 bar and wonder why it keeps blowing head gaskets and shagging pistons

oh well, would still like to own one or an Esc Cos at sometime just to say i have :D
