Le Mans stickers

I've started having a think of some designs for this year's Le Mans stickers. It would be a good idea to get them sorted early this year as there were problems due to last minute demand last year. :)

I'm imagining them all cut in nice crisp vinyl!

Same as last year, I like the SXOC in the circuit - also strangely drawn to the Cnut ones (they would look damn good on my car too) :D

Same as last year, I like the SXOC in the circuit - also strangely drawn to the Cnut ones (they would look damn good on my car too) :DCould do the traditional Gulf ones instead, if you prefer :)

I'm creating them all in Illustrator, so they'll scale perfectly and could theoretically be as massive as you want!

I've just bought a vinyl cutter, but I've not really had a chance to play with it fully yet; if it works OK, I'll make a load myself. If not, we can farm them out to a professional sign shop. :)

Is that sticker big enough - it looks a bit dwarfed? Maybe 45cm-ish might be better sized?

I'd have to look at designs for dark cars, and maybe use white, or white outlines for the letters.

:nod: 45cm would be about right, any bigger and it would have to go over the swage line and be a pain to get the sticker to stick to it :)

This would obviously require a bit of talent to get the two parts on correctly together; alternatively, we could easily get some all-in-one stickers made up by a sign shop that can print on white vinyl. :)

Not yet; I've been a bit snowed under with other stuff recently.

I'll get hold of some vinyl and see if I can sort something out soon, though :thumbs:

Right. After a nudge from Ari, I'm gonna buy some vinyl tomorrow so I can get working on some Cnut stickers in the Gulf style. :)

I've also roughly decided on the stickers that are going on the Elise - viper stripes all the way over the car, and team Cnut :D

Oh, and could you do me a favour and measure your car for me? It would be useful to know these distances, to help work out the right size to do the stickers:

3 = 1 front drivers doors, 1 front passengers door & one on the bonnet

White Volvo V70 (when I get one :wack:) 350mm is about the max these doors will allow, big stupid rubbing strip halfway up the door :rolleyes:

Err... Any chance you could source a "LeMan SXOC track" sticker x3 in white. They look fantastic. One for each side, and one on the bonnet. I know its a bit late in the day, but adding stickers will be a bloody laugh.
