We have some stock of the new range of Apex flywheels. We have S13, S14 and S15 ready to go although current stock levels are low. A larger batch is being sorted now and will be here in another couple of weeks.

We can offer S13, S14 and S15:

S13 £249 5.90kg
S14 £265 4.66kg
S15 £339 5.50kg

The S15 will need to be run with a sprung clutch.

What do you mean by a sprung clutch for the s15?

interested for the s14, how much lighter is it than the stock flywheel and what difference will it make to performance?

The S15 runs a sprung flywheel and a solid clutch plate. Most cars run a solid flywheel and a sprung clutch.

Around half the weight of a stock flywheel. They allow the engine to spin up quicker so it revs easier. They also improve braking as you lose some of the engines inertia so its easier to slow down.

No probs ;)

Bren, just to clear it up a bit further:

Will that S15 flywheel allow you to bolt on any of the usual aftermarket S14 clutches?

Just double checking now but yes, it should take any aftermarket S14 clutch kit. S14 clutch kits are sold to fit the S15s anyway, you just end up with two sprung components so a non sprung S15 fly should take an s14 clutch no problem.
