I've got a crappy problem that when I turn right or on a bumpy road the car starts fireing on 3. if I get the misses to prod the connector to the ecu it sorts itself out for a while. I've clean up the connectors and tried a differnt ecu but it still kept failing. so today I set to it with me multimeter and found that on coil pack 2 the trigger voltage (or whatever) is the problem, ie it's not there when the ecu is in a certain position. to me this says broken wire but I'm not chopping about in the loom so I decided to have a ring round and get it done with a guarentee. Every auto electrical guy in the yellow pages refused to agree to have a look all saying it as beyond them, even though I could tell them what the wire colour was and where I suspected the brake to be. so decided to bite the bullet and see what nissan would say, "yeah no probs mate, bring it in on monday and we'll sort it out for you. Shouldnt be a long job to do"
Big thanks to nissan and a big fat up your's to all the supposed autoelectrical cowards.
