Hey all two part request... well three really.. no four/five oh hell Ill just start.
First off I cant get a piccy to upload so can anyone upload the piccys from Gees original thread of the car I now own..
Next up can someone add a carbon fibre bonnet on her (photoshop) in carbon colour, not headlights etc, just bonnet, so I can see what it looks like if possible another piccy of the same but with roof, tailgate and centre of spoiler done.
Now for a harder part... can anyone change the lights for clear covers? and anyone add a PSG kit.. or repaint a car with one on to my colour? Not much to ask I know!
Last up slightly off car topic.. peeps who might do this, what spec does photoshop need to run and anyone got any ahem..old discs..that may or may not have been copied which I may or may not use for the purpose of sticking it on my PC..ahem
Cheers all
Joe

ickledevil, u say "now for the harder part" but it's all well hard and would take a Photoshop master hours to do, I've been using photoshop for around 4 years, and I would'nt even attempt anything like this as it'd just p!ss me off :D (I've tried just adding spoilers to cars etc and it takes ages  ) Ur best bet is to have ago urself...Then stand back after 4 hours work and say "That looks Shite" :D:D:D
I also have a "Ahem" backup copy ;):D

Please have a look by all means, mainly interested in a piccy of PSG kit in similar colour to mine, and carbon bonnet.
No one has managed to link to Gee's thread so have a search for it, was Jan time I think.
Cheers for the help...
I will be back and PM later.
Thanks again
Joe

ickle,

how 'carbon' do you want the bonnet to look?

http://www.imagestation.com/picture/sraid53/pc2055430d6033b5099927ae82ab8d4de/fc8c7f37.jpg

it's just 'greyscaled', then 'add noised' then dusted over with black but I think it gives a general idea of what it would look like... bout 1/2 hr of a job for that (I had to work out how to make a selection greyscale:o )

If that'll do, post the piccy and I'll do it over the weekend.

cheers,

AL

AL  Try using a clipping path to get a mask for the bonnet. Then you can select the Red colour ranges and desturate them to Black while altering the levels, but this way will keep the shine. The one below was a quick ten minute job, changing the car from red/pink... reflective black...
