God damn-it! Cops and number plates again

Got pulled by airport cops near Barry, was told my front plate was illegal and I had to get it changed.
I said well it passed an MOT 2month ago and that I got pulled in my home town of Swindon and the two cops looked round and didnt say a thing about it. n they came back with its just been brought in down this part of the country.
they also said it was in the wrong place.. well I'd give them that-it is I guess... got to get it changed or I might just put it onto the bumper flat and try to get the form stampted up.doubt it'll work but worth a try.:mad:

The law says it has to be visible from a 45 deg angle. Where is it?

Evo's have them on the corner (as do Alfas) from Factory, so they cant pull that one.

thats a good point about the angle aswell as long as it's not sunk inside on the mesh or something i can't see the issue, they were just being annoying c**ks:nod:

I took a min or two and looked at pics of the car. Its mounted on the lower edge of the bumper (pretty flat).
Still legal afaik, seeing as Mazda MX5s etc have them taped (sticker type) to the bonnet etc :wack:
