View Full Version : Fiat Uno Turbo
My sisters boyfriend and his mates all drive fiat uno turbos and they love them, i have often heard their stories of beating VR6'S, R5 Turbos and even ferrari's and reckon that they could Kill my 200 S13 on the quater so they went to Santa Pod today and the best time from one of the uno's was 14.7 the worst 17's most were around 15.5 - 16.8 whilst a 200 S13 did a 13.35 need i say more. They have their excuses already about loosing boost, missing gears so on (all 6 of them) and so on and all i have to say is thanks to matey with the gunmetal grey 200sx S13 making the uno bods look like knobs and proving you cant beat rear wheel drive jap cars, burn those cheap italian things, i have offered to race him for logbooks in a month at the next RWYB then my car is finnished but i havent had a responce yet.
One of my mates had one, it was fast for a little car, but no match for a 200 ;) ... if I were him, I'd say yes, and get some NOSH to give you a surprise :D ... unless your spouting 250+ bhp, then you'd probably have him anyway :D

JB, you forgot the "Scrabble, bounce all over the shop, Scrabble, bounce all over the shop, Scrabble, bounce all over the shop" that would be inevitable on a standing 1/4 dash.
Or, indeed, pulling away from a set of traffic lights.
Or side turning.
:D
Oi, Uno Turbo owner here:mad:! Must admit the performance was very poor:( . I was getting low 16s, and was gonna get rid of it, but then I had a little tinker under the bonnet and pulled in consistent 15.4s (best was 15.414 @ 92mph) with a slipping clutch. Loved the S13 and the Fensport Celica though. I'm on here cos I heard that I can slap a T25/28 on the Uno and I think the S14 uses them, so I was picking brains for info.
Anyway, can't really dis the 200, as I've been looking at getting one myself. Oh well, mine isn't modified that much (standard turbo & intercooler) and had a look at some of your 1/4 mile times and they're worse than mine. :p
T25 are on the S13, T28 are from the S14 and S14a. Most people have swapped out the T25 on their S13 for a T28, so there will be a few T25's lying around (i have one in my garage in fact).
