I have booked Spa, The Ring twice and Bedford.

Rather excited.

Not sure if anyone else is at these events, but I have booked these so far:

Bedford Autodrome Sat 9th Feb.
Ring 11/12th May
Spa 13th May with MLR/GTROC.
Ring 26th June

and Possibly another Trip to the Ring in October aswell.

All being well I hope to get to 2 or 3 more Uk trackdays in too, as well as maybe a weekend in the Isle of Man with the boys.....:D

Make sure you're very quiet at Beford - they're really strict on noise. Static test pretty much any one will pass, its the drive bys that get you. A complete std GT3 RS won't pass :(

Thanks Jez, I am hearing bad things now about Bedford, wish I had not booked it tbh, but it was cheap, a proper track and on a saturday.:rolleyes:

I'm doing Bedford GP on 23rd Feb, just got emailed by the organisers to say the limits are:

Static: 101dB

Drive by: 87.5dB :wack: Anyone know where the mic is/are?

It has come to our attention that our automated confirmation email system has been stating the noise limit for Bedford Autodrome is 101dB drive by. This is incorrect. The correct noise limits are as follows:



Static: 101dB

Drive by: 87.5dB



I know many of you have done Bedford with us before and not had a problem – the limit remains unchanged from previous years events but expect a tighter control on both number of cars on track, space between cars on track and drive by infringement leniencies.



Bear in mind all road legal cars are subject to a 95dB static limit prior to type approval (including the Porsche 911 GT3, Caterham R400 and Ariel Atom). For any Northlooper’s out there, this will be rigorously enforced on Norsdschleife tourist days in 2008, so beware.



So for all but the noisiest of cars, 101dB static and 87.5dB drive by limits will not represent a problem.

87.5?! Thats almost stock isn't it?! Also on the Ring its not going to be as 'rigorous' as they say, it'll be like before as far as I know.

Me and a few of my mates have just booked our 4th Ring Trip - travelling out there Saturday the 28th of June and coming back Friday the 4th of July. Can't wait!!
