Another Abingdon Track Day Anyone

Right, I want to get back into things before I cange engines. Anyone want to join me.

Should be a bit of fun before we get back into the proper track season:sxoc:

Great events and good guys that run it, Colwell, Jules and I went last year and I have been a couple of times with ProjectVTI:thumbs:

This is the perfect event if you havent been out on track before, or if your a track vet and want push a bit harder without the worry of hitting anything.

We have been out on track with an F40, GT3RS, Ultima GTR, Noble M12 at this event

I've done this track day before. I really like the masses of open space, no armco or gravel traps to ruin your bodywork, would really recommend this. I would be up for this, me and my mate with his ITR are going to do abingdon this year, but the 23rd is the Surrey RR day and i dont think i can afford both in the month.

Tomk I've got the RR the next day @ £79 you cant get a much cheaper day out. As siad its not a "track" but its fun and if its rains you can still have a good time

I thought Colwll was going to sort that for you, did you change the gasket or has someting else reared its head as a problem?

we took it all off and put new gaskets and studs on but the other day on boost it was screaming again :rolleyes:

when im back from holiday i need to check if the bolts have come loose or the gasket has gone. hopefully its just a pipe slipping off or something.

rent one where? the last one was in a decent part of weybridge and that still got raped off all my stuff :indiff:

So how much track time do you get for your £79?

If its the same as the last one i went to (which was 9 months ago), i think its 9 - 4 or 5, open pit lane. So plenty of track time.

I'm trying to sort an extra silencer at the moment so I can fit it next week. if I can't get one sorted then not much point in me booking as I'm sure my NUR Spec-R will be over 100DBa
