Disconnect auxiliary air valve before adjusting idle speed.

To check CO, set ECU mode selector to mode II (two flashes on ECU lamp) by turning screw clockwise. When lamp flashes twice, immediately turn screw anti- clockwise.
Disconnect coolant temperature sensor multi-plug and connect a 2.5K ohm resistor between multi-plug terminals.
Disconnect auxiliary air valve. Green and red warning lamps should flash together at 2000 rpm if Co is within limits. If CO is outside limits, check lambda probe.
