nissan 300zx owners club have very kindly invited us to their weekender at billing to raise money for marie curie charity:nod::D


There are two aims of this event, to get together and have immense fun, whilst raising as much cash as we can for Marie Curie, our designated charity.

Our decisions behind choosing Marie Curie cancer care are simple, in some way we have all been affected by this horrible disease.

Research has shown that 75 per cent of people seriously ill with cancer would like to be cared for at home. Every year, Marie Curie Nurses make that wish possible for thousands of cancer patients in cities, towns and villages across the UK.

Marie Curie scientists are at the forefront of cancer research. They focus on how the cells of our bodies should normally operate; what causes these processes to go wrong, leading to cancer; and how better treatments can be developed.

The prices are as follows:

£10 per CAR per day if only going single day
£13 per CAR/TENT per night up to 6 people. ie If you went on the saturday and stayed until sunday, you only pay £13, Fri-sun £26.

prices are payable on the gate at billing :)

But despite that those that did show all made it an excellent weekend, the sun shone all the time and much fun was had :thumbs:

Team SXOC did their bit and won the quiz on saturday night and thoroughly enjoyed their prize of 6 bottles of wine :sxoc: there was also a raffle with lots of great prizes and I managed to win a new set if front brake pads worth £100 :thumbs:

But although it was agreat weekend I am still embarrased and dissappointed not more people showed up and supported a great cause :(
