Please be aware that these are the pics I have taken when I first got the car...
I have now cleaned her (took me 2 days inside and out!)
Once I have cleaned her up, I will post some better pics.. (it will be a while yet, hence why I uploaded these!)
I am chuffed tho.
ps and the bloke in the pic is ME:D

Fantastic ! Was the woman cool? She seemed nice on the phone (i'm not asking if ya would bone her i mean was she a nice person in general)
Tell the story !! Did you do the oil change when you got there ? Does it run ok ?
Sweet, I was thinking of buying a black one so I could do the cannonball run copy:D then realised that I might get pulled over with a rocket in the boot.
hows it drive? are they quick?

That looks really quite purdy :)
They are quick - 6.4 0-60 in standard trim and in general drive like demons once you've tamed the tail :D

The Starion is lovely to drive. Its layout is very similar to the 200.
Basically the story is the woman thought the turbo was going and was quoted £1500 from a garage to get it fixed.:eek:
Another problem was the last service.. the bloke put shite oil in and it has a problem when you drive sensibly.. but when you boot it its fine (thats probably why I havent come across this problem yet ;) :D )
I got the car from Christchurch (nr Bournemouth) Its got FULL MOT's since the factory! Its got Full Service History.
All I paid her was £85 for tax til end of August, that was it!!!!! the car also had half a tank in her aswell :)
When I started her up for the first time There was blue smoke coming out:( so I knew I was looking at a bill of around £300 min, to sort it out.
She also stressed about an idle problem (see above).. Unfortunately I didnt have enough time to change the oil whilst I was down there, so I took my chances and drove it back to Kent.
On the way I experienced NO problems at all. drove around 80-85mph all the way and the occasional 125:rolleyes: :D and did it in under half a tank!
I had a mate look under the bonnet and he saw that a pipe was loose. He connected it, now I dont get any blue smoke:confused: and I havent got a clue why this is :confused:
Its all nice and washed now (to the best I could do anyway) However there is Oil/grease on the back seat.. I have tried using Fairy liquid but it doesnt seem to go :confused: any ideas??
This weekend I am doing an Oil flush, buying a new filter and checking the pump, going to put some decent oil in tho.
Now I know that the turbo is ok and the car is generally running fine.. I am ordering a K&N from Bren tomorrow :D and turning the boost up a little (prob 14psi MAX, if it dont like it then I will turn it down!) Next is to get a 2.5" full stainless steel system (around £350) However I think it really needs a tune up.
I will be going to Bolney (West Sussex) on 16 March for the Jap Meet so if anyone is going there then I will prob see ya.
My mate might be coming in his 200sx aswell. (now thats a nice motor!)
But I am loving it, it has LSD as standard, so I have started to master Dounuts:rolleyes: :p :D and also attempting to do little drifts:cool: Its a bit wierd at first, but this car can be quite tail happy:rolleyes: :D e.g. last nite I went round a corner in 2nd gear about 3000rpm (the corner was not tight at all) and floored it, the backend came out a little and a nice little flick of the steering wheel it returned to its originial position:D
Its SO MUCH FUN!!!!!!! Anyone who hasnt got RWD GET ONE NOW!!!!!! ESP with LSD....

Its a wierd feeling because I have had alot of bad luck in the past 2 years.. so I am thinking maybe this is my turn to have good luck?

damn thats a clean car!!, well in comparison to my rover!:rolleyes:
Believe it mate, that car when I brought it was FILTHLY!!! but since then It has had an almost complete make over..
waxed, polished outside.. and hoovered, polished inside.
When i have sorted out my camera and other stuff I will post some pics up:)
I want to get my install done aswell.. Now that will look nice ;)
