stage3 install questions

Hi jez,

I've bought a stage3 s14 european chip and installed it. While installing the socket i did a check with the multimeter. Is it normal that these pins are connected with each other?

I know it's abit messsy i didn't have the tin removal tool now i have.:nod:

engine check light is burning after the installation.

the daughterboard is also connected at the same pins. So that can be it....
engine check light is burning is it possible that the z32 afm is not connected properly?

The check engine light after an ECU upgrade install is usually a problem with the fitting / soldering.

i did a check on the z32 afm should be fine. I'll try fit it again. But what if the engine check light is burning is it possible to send you the ecu+chip for a check up? Any prices on that? :)

You can send it over if you like - the repair cost will depend on whats faulty. Its generally £50+VAT per hour plus any parts
