Actualy got around to fitting the kenlow fan today, starnge as I set out to fit the water injection. I decided to fit the WI nozel in the intake pipe after the IC, because of this the rad and intercooler had to come out . me having a brain wave thought that while the rad was out it'd be easier to fit the leccy fan so I did.
The result, well the engine bay looks better now as I'd just slung the rad and intercooler on in an hour before billing last year and it was on the slosh. I'd totaly fluked the setting on the fan to be spot on. it now drives the smoothist it's done for ages. The judder which I thought was caused by the throttle position sensor not being set ok has totaly gone. And the steam that was pooring of the rad in the begining turned out to be the water I'd spilt on it and not another leak I'd caused. re tryinging to stuff an engine in a day before billing led to me having to fix the radiator with JB weld last year:rolleyes:
And on top of that thanks to paul's tapping skill's (a job far to delicete for ole club hands here:o ) the wi jet is installed. All I have to do now is fit the wi pump and other bits, try and find some kind of resevour for the methol/water mix and were away:D just have to fit that s14 diff thats been sitting in my garage for a year:rolleyes: thats if I can get past all pauls flipping engines he's stocked up in there, Im sure there bleeding breeding.
On top of that we got a shiney new eprom writer and an emulator so we can set the thing up on the rollers if we can sweat talk mark at mgm motor sport that is, The car killed his snapon timing light last time when it got caught in the fan  no chance of that now though. wehay I guess you can tell how happy I am;) It was good taking the car for a thrash earlier on and feeling how good it felt and shooting flames all over and and and I'll just shut up now.
