do-able or not?

I quite like the flexibility of the Pro-fec controller letting me toggle between 7psi, 12psi and 14.5psi, but the question is, will i be ok to run 7psi? i'd assume it'l overfuel a little which will result in low power (not that i'd be fussed as thats the reason i'd be running such low boost), but just want to make sure theres no problem with it?

should be making an order in the next month or so :D

cool.. order has been placed via the website :D

whats the chances of me driving to work, removing the ECU, soldering on the daughter board, reinstalling the ECU and driving home without any hiccups? :wack:

ps. paypal was being gay, please let me know if you receive payment twice! lol :wack:

Unlikely, lol! Its quite tricky to fit these, we recommend you let us do it.

If its just a case of soldering everything as shown in the guide on your website then if i can't do it, my uncle repairs amps for a living and should be able to :)

I'll make sure I take a different car to work that day then :wack:

having just finished fitting it, i can't beleive you only charge £35 for fitting!!

dont think i'll be doing that again!! fitting the ribbons and moving the jumper were pretty easy, but removing solder from the board was a pain even with a solder sucker or a solder removing strip!

seems to pull nicely over 5k now though  :smitten:

quick question, if i ever decide to upgrade injectors, does the daughter board need to be changed if i opt for a custom map? :)

I've done a few now, so £35 is a fair price, doesn't take me long :)

If you want to change the maps you just need to swap the chip - so no more soldering :)

Now you are in denial mate. The thought is already lurking that you will go up to the next stage:wack:

erm.. I was convincing myself changing maps wasn't worth the hassle, but seeing as its so easy!!!! might hold off till spring, will need a new clutch and radiator if i stage 2 it!

must... not... give... in...to... temptation :wack:

maybe in the spring! I've treated myself a little too much these past 2-3months!

oh, and last question (promise!), how much is it to go from Stage 1 to 2? although I'll probably opt for a custom map (IF I decide to do it :wack: )
