help with adsl moden plz

after installing the modem i get 651 error, bt have tested the line and say its ok,
today i returned my modem and got a diferent one, but still have the same prob,
can anyone help me before i pull the rest of my hair out plz

Whats the make and modle of the modem? I'll have a dig about for you

its a conexant runner,has no maurfactor name, the one i retured was a vox,but new one has same driver on diferent disc,same error report,:confused:

have alook here modem info (http://www.modemsite.com/56k/duns650.asp) and scroll down to the 651 bit. it look's like conextant are generic chipset manufacturers. this site also tell's you how to find out who manufactuerd your modem, it looks like a driver problem. hope this help's
